What you'll do

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities within assigned Higher Education institutions in Florida.
  • Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, including C-level executives and IT leaders.
  • Develop strategic account plans to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Position the value of Oracle’s data platform solutions to meet each institution's needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align solutions to customer requirements effectively.
  • Build and implement initiatives to increase solution awareness and market penetration.
  • Remain informed about trends in higher education and data platform technologies.

What we're looking for

  • Demonstrated experience in solution sales to higher education institutions or complex organizations, exceeding targets.
  • Strong prospecting skills with ability to build net-new relationships and expand within existing accounts.
  • Deep understanding of data platform concepts, cloud infrastructure, and challenges/opportunities in higher education.
  • Experience selling SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and data platform solutions (Oracle or similar).
  • Collaborative mindset with strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Foundational cloud knowledge/certification from OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience required.
