MSOC Manager
The MSOC Manager joins the Manufacturing Security team to build and lead a dedicated operations center for large-scale manufacturing facilities. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staffing coverage, and developing comprehensive procedures, training programs, and quality assurance protocols to ensure consistent service levels. The manager serves as an administrative point of contact during major incidents, coordinates with local emergency services, and acts as a power user for technical systems. Key responsibilities include triaging reports, dispatching responders, and monitoring security alarms. The role requires expertise in CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), radio consoles, and mass notification systems. This position addresses the unique risks of high-activity industrial sites by providing a hybrid model between a Public Safety Answering Point and a corporate security alarm center to protect personnel, assets, and intellectual property.
Manage day-to-day MSOC operations including staffing coverage, process gap identification, and service level alignment.
Serve as the administrative point of contact during major incidents and lead post-event debriefs.
Establish and maintain active relationships with local public safety agencies for coordinated emergency responses.
Develop and implement comprehensive procedures, standards, and training programs for MSOC staff.
Oversee a quality assurance program to review incident records and ensure compliance with best practices.
Act as a power user for security technologies including CCTV, access control, and dispatch systems.
Coordinate with internal departments like HR, Facilities, and EHS to integrate security into operational workflows.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of cumulative experience in physical security operations or public safety as a people leader with direct reports.
Proven experience leading teams including direct supervision of staff and oversight of contracted personnel.
Hands-on experience with CCTV, access control, intrusion detection systems, and dispatch technologies like CAD, radio consoles, and mass notification systems.
Demonstrated experience in incident response, investigation, and reporting within an operational context.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if required.
Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to export-controlled information or facilities.
