What you'll do

  • Own the technical roadmap and engineering leadership for the MPI and VHIC engineering teams.
  • Configure and tune IBM InfoSphere MDM probabilistic-matching for identity resolution across 85M+ records.
  • Manage production-availability targets and lead incident triage or Root Cause Analysis for Tier 3 escalations.
  • Lead data-integrity engineering, including bulk-validation, cleanup, and automated tooling for routine data validation.
  • Oversee technical delivery of the custom-developed VHIC application and its integration with medical-facility workflows.
  • Coordinate with Database Administrators on shared Oracle, IBM DB2, and InfoSphere MDM backends.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for MPI identity attribute corrections and data-quality issues.
  • Mentor and provide technical work leadership to engineers and database staff on the MPI Support team.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination.
  • 5+ years of experience leading or architecting large-scale 10M+ record master data management or identity-correlation systems.
  • 5+ years of experience with Oracle Database or IBM DB2 administration or architecture in an enterprise production environment.
  • Hands-on experience with a MDM or probabilistic-matching platform such as IBM InfoSphere MDM.
  • Experience leading a technical team delivering and operating a production identity datastore or system of record at scale.
  • Experience with healthcare or Veteran-facing identity data systems (preferred).
  • Experience correlating identity data across DoD or other federal or third-party authoritative sources (preferred).
