What you'll do

  • Manage the technical roadmap and engineering leadership for both MPI and VHIC teams.
  • Tune IBM InfoSphere MDM probabilistic-matching configurations for identity resolution across 85 million records.
  • Ensure high availability targets of 99.99% for MPI and 99.9% for VHIC while leading incident triage.
  • Lead data integrity, bulk validation, and automated tooling for identity reconciliation and cleanup.
  • Oversee the technical delivery of the custom-developed VHIC application and its integration with medical workflows.
  • Coordinate with database administrators to manage shared Oracle, DB2, and InfoSphere MDM backends.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for identity data quality issues and support tickets.
  • Mentor and provide technical leadership to engineers and database staff on the support team.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination.
  • 5+ years of experience leading or architecting large-scale master data management or identity-correlation systems.
  • 5+ years of experience with Oracle Database or IBM DB2 administration or architecture in an enterprise production environment.
  • Experience leading a technical team delivering and operating a production identity datastore or system of record at scale.
  • Experience with IBM InfoSphere MDM or other probabilistic-matching platforms.
  • Experience with data reconciliation and bulk data-quality remediation for large volumes of records.
  • Experience using AI agents to build tools and automate tasks.
