As the Mission Systems Lead within the Maritime Division, you will lead the technical development and integration of mission systems for maritime products from initial concept through delivery. You will manage multi-disciplinary teams to design, build, and sustain capabilities in challenging environments while ensuring requirements align with customer inputs. Your daily work involves driving architecture selection for robotic mission systems, including hardware, compute, storage, and network infrastructure. You will oversee the development of software running on and off platform, create test and simulation fixtures involving hardware-in-the-loop, and manage the full product lifecycle from manufacturing to deployment. Key technical requirements include experience with distributed software platforms under dynamic network topologies, high assurance safety-critical software, modeling and simulation, and autonomous weapons systems. You will utilize skills in algorithms, data structures, concurrency, and optimization to solve complex maritime mission challenges.

What you'll do

Lead the technical development and integration of mission systems for maritime products from concept to delivery.
Manage hardware selection, compute, storage, and network architecture for robotic mission systems.
Define requirements based on customer inputs and ensure traceability to program office decisions.
Develop and implement software testing processes including hardware-in-the-loop and simulation fixtures.
Lead and mentor multi-disciplinary engineering teams to deliver both on-platform and off-platform software.
Collaborate with vehicle software teams to integrate mission systems with core sensor and actuator functions.
Contribute to the company-wide roadmap for integrating mission systems into maritime platforms.
Support the manufacturing, deployment, and sustainment of maritime hardware and software.

What we're looking for

Experience in a senior role delivering military mission systems.
Experience developing and sustaining distributed software platform and application architectures under dynamic network topologies.
Experience with modeling, simulation, and high-assurance safety-critical software development.
Deep understanding of autonomous weapons systems including payload capabilities and commercial/military missions.
Experience within the product delivery lifecycle including manufacturing, system acceptance, deployment, and sustainment.
Familiarity with vehicle management systems and Systems Engineering concepts.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
