Mission Support Engineer, EW

What you'll do

• Manage the operational performance of deployed EW systems across multiple theaters as the primary technical interface for field operations.
• Investigate and resolve system anomalies by performing root cause isolation, corrective actions, and post-incident documentation.
• Validate and test new EW software builds through pre-deployment verification and operational acceptance testing.
• Utilize Linux diagnostics, log analysis, and command-line tools to troubleshoot issues and deploy software solutions.
• Analyze field performance data to identify failure patterns and inform engineering investment decisions.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers to manage and resolve reported issues.
• Translate operational feedback and mission requirements into actionable input for product development teams.
• Provide structured mission insights and deployment lessons learned to shape software and hardware roadmap priorities.

What we're looking for

• Must have 3+ years of experience in the defense industry, USG, or DoD/DoW performing technical operations.
• Experience deploying complex software solutions and managing incident-driven workflows is required.
• Experience with distributed communication networks and system-of-systems architectures is required.
• Ability to navigate disaggregated networking systems and perform Linux diagnostics using command-line tools.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
• Preferred: BS in a STEM discipline such as computer science, electrical engineering, or information technology.
• Preferred: Industry networking certifications like CompTIA Sec+, Net+, CCNA, or Linux+.
• Preferred: Experience with EW systems, software defined radios, RF sensors, or containerized deployments.
