Mission Operations Engineer, Connected Warfare joins the Mission Operations team to manage customer accounts and ensure mission success within the Connected Warfare division. This role involves providing post-sales technical support, training, and troubleshooting for Voyager products in both tactical and non-tactical environments. You will collaborate with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to resolve complex issues, maintain NOC infrastructure including networks and servers, and develop technical documentation like manuals and knowledge papers. The ideal candidate possesses a strong aptitude for problem-solving at the intersection of hardware, software, and networking while translating technical concepts into operational requirements. Key skills include experience in program management, understanding of multi-domain environments, and familiarity with DoD networks, SATCOM, and radios. This role addresses the challenge of creating connected mesh ecosystems to support global command and control missions for military operations.
Provide on-site and remote technical support and training for Voyager products in tactical environments.
Support the sales team during customer meetings by evaluating existing solutions and recommending upgrades.
Maintain and manage NOC infrastructure including networks, servers, and databases.
Resolve complex technical issues escalated from Tier 1 staff to ensure continuous improvement.
Maintain a test lab environment to replicate and resolve specific customer problems.
Create technical documentation including training manuals, installation guides, and maintenance manuals.
Track system configurations and maintain logs for all products delivered to customers.
Test emerging products to evaluate performance and provide feedback for future improvements.
What we're looking for
Experience in program management and product deployment roles.
Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Understanding of U.S. and allied military operations, doctrines, and multi-domain environments.
Ability to translate and decompose highly technical concepts into operational requirements and performance specifications.
Strong aptitude for problem solving in unstructured situations involving hardware, software, and networking.
Willingness to travel as necessary (25-50%).
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance.
Experience in Defense Technology Product/Program Management, Solutions Architect, or Customer Success roles (preferred); experience with DoD networks, software, SATCOM, and radios (preferred).
