Mission Security Engineer
As a Mission Security Engineer, you will join the team as a solutions architect to design and develop secure systems for the U.S. Navy that can withstand advanced cyber threats. You will be responsible for hardening systems, reducing attack surfaces, and coordinating with your team to translate client IT needs into actionable plans. Your daily work involves investigating new techniques, leading network design efforts, and balancing security requirements with mission needs. The role requires expertise in mission security methods, secure coding practices, operating system security, and virtualization. You will also analyze engineering requirements for cybersecurity, software assurance, supply chain risk management, and operations security. Preferred skills include experience with Cross Domain Solutions, cryptographic algorithm implementation, S-SOTA technologies, COTS FPGA security features, and modeling architectures in Cameo or MagicDraw. A Secret clearance is required for this role.
Design and develop secure systems to withstand advanced cyber threats for U.S. Navy operations.

What we're looking for
3+ years of experience with mission security methods, techniques, and systems.
Experience analyzing engineering requirements and testing in lifecycle support for cybersecurity, software assurance, and supply chain risk management.
Experience applying secure coding practices, securing operating systems, and virtualization.
Ability to design security architectures based on adversary threat analysis and proposed countermeasures.
Active Secret clearance required.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
Preferred experience with Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) and cryptographic algorithm implementation.
Preferred experience with modeling in Cameo or MagicDraw and knowledge of COTS FPGA security features.
