Systems Infrastructure & Network Security Operations Engineer

What you'll do

• Draft and maintain zero-trust SOPs and policy-as-code for identity, device, data, and infrastructure.
• Develop automated, version-controlled Ansible playbooks for firewalls, switches, and SD-WAN systems.
• Architect and automate backup, failover, and disaster recovery workflows for all network devices.
• Integrate vulnerability scanners and threat intelligence into CI/CD pipelines to automate security remediation.
• Manage network configurations using configuration managers to ensure inventory accuracy and audit drift.
• Model traffic and compute link utilization to provide capacity planning reports for stakeholders.
• Build proof-of-concept environments to test complex customer requirements and technical feasibility.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Technical cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, SANS, ISACA, CompTIA, or Cisco are preferred.
• At least 6 years of experience configuring firewalls, switches, VPNs, VLANs, and traffic load balancing.
• Deep knowledge of L2/L3 protocols including OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and VXLAN.
• Proficiency in Python, Ansible, Terraform, Git, and Jenkins or GitLab CI for network automation and IaC.
• Experience with VMware vSphere, Proxmox, Linux, Windows, F5, InfoBlox, and cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNets).
• Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code, zero-trust design, and policy-as-code implementation.
• Knowledge of architecture governance frameworks such as TOGAF or ArchiMate.
