This role demands expertise in L2/L3 protocols, architecture governance, and a proactive approach to continuous process improvement, ensuring service availability and scalability for HP’s global operations.

What you'll do

  • Draft and maintain zero-trust security SOPs for identity, device, data, and infrastructure.
  • Extend Net-Sec-Ops pipelines with IaC (Ansible) for firewalls, switches, SD-WAN, and edge fabric.
  • Architect and automate backup, failover, and disaster recovery workflows for network devices.
  • Integrate vulnerability scanners and threat-intel feeds into CI/CD pipelines to ensure compliance.
  • Model traffic and compute link utilization to forecast capacity needs and prevent performance bottlenecks.

What we're looking for

  • 6+ years of experience in configuring firewalls, switches, and other network devices.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Ansible and Terraform.
  • Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting in DevOps environments.
  • Experience with security and compliance orchestration, including vulnerability management.
  • Knowledge of L2/L3 protocols such as OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and VXLAN.
  • Technical cybersecurity certification (CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent) preferred.
