As a Staff Security Engineer on the IP Protection team, you will build and operate data protection solutions to safeguard intellectual property throughout its lifecycle. You will serve as the enterprise DLP authority, developing policies for devices, messaging, cloud applications, and storage platforms while optimizing detection capabilities for source code, hardware designs, and algorithms using regex, fingerprints, and ML-based classifiers. Your daily work involves monitoring egress channels like USB, email, and generative AI tools to prevent exfiltration, alongside managing data classification and rights management initiatives. You will utilize a technical stack including Azure, AWS, GCP, SIEM/SOAR platforms, and Splunk SPL, while leveraging Python, PowerShell, and automation tools like UiPath and Copilot Studio. What we're looking for
5+ years of information security experience with hands-on expertise in Data Loss Prevention (DLP), data classification/labeling, and enterprise-scale policy design.
Strong technical foundation in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Deep knowledge of networking, operating systems, intellectual property data protection, and enterprise data movement.
Experience with AI and automation technologies including machine learning, Copilot Studio, UiPath, SharePoint, Azure AI Foundry, and AWS Bedrock.
Proficiency with cloud and security operations technologies including Azure, AWS, GCP, SIEM/SOAR platforms, and scripting tools like PowerShell, Python, and Splunk SPL.
Excellent communication skills to operationalize security controls through custom keywords, dictionaries, automation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Master’s degree or equivalent experience in technology or science (preferred).
Relevant professional certifications and semiconductor experience protecting Intellectual Property (preferred).
