What you'll do

  • Create and maintain accurate network documentation to assist with incident resolution.
  • Provide enterprise network support to ensure customer requirements are met by the LAN/WAN architecture.
  • Execute the process for managing information assurance vulnerability alerts (IAVAs) and system security scanning.
  • Propose, design, test, and install new capabilities within the network environment.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of technical data such as rack elevations and as-built designs.
  • Perform analysis, root cause diagnosis, and troubleshooting for routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Respond to operational issues on an on-call basis.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 8 years of related experience.
  • At least 5 years of in-depth experience with hardware/software from Cisco Systems.
  • At least 5 years of in-depth experience with hardware/software from Palo Alto Systems.
  • Experience providing analysis, root cause diagnosis, and troubleshooting for routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • In-depth understanding of IP subnetting, VLANs, OSI layers, and physical mediums like copper and fiber.
  • Must have TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Experience with KG-175, KG-250/KG-255, VINE/GEM One, SolarWinds, VMWare 7, or various networking technologies (preferred).
