What you'll do

Define and maintain the overall security posture of the networks.
Perform security audits of events and overall health to implement security improvements.
Configure and maintain communications systems including firewalls, routers, switches, and storage devices.
Write and edit build-to, as-built, implementation, and test documentation for IT equipment.
Provide expert analysis for voice, video, and data communications networks including protocol suites.
Design and deploy multi-firewall solutions, IPSec site-to-site VPNs, and remote access VPNs.
Provide Tier I, II, and III technical support and troubleshooting to users.
Convert ambiguous requirements into technical solutions for network infrastructure and capacity planning.

What we're looking for

Must be a US Citizen.
Must currently possess an active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph clearance.
Must have 5+ years of related Network Engineering experience.
Must have a Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related field, or 9 years of equivalent job-related experience.
Must have 3+ years of experience configuring and maintaining Cisco ASA or Next Generation Firewalls.
Must have 4+ years of experience configuring, designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting LAN/WAN devices with a thorough understanding of routing concepts.
Must have experience deploying Cisco, Palo Alto, or Juniper firewall manager servers and engineering multi-firewall solutions.
Must have experience with IPSec site-to-site VPN utilizing PKI, remote access VPN, and network monitoring technologies.
Juniper, Palo Alto, or Cisco Next Generation Firewalls certifications and hands-on experience (preferred).
Experience configuring, designing, and troubleshooting QoS in LAN or WAN devices (preferred).
Experience designing and deploying Multi-Factor Authentication or Zero-Trust solutions (preferred).
