As a Microprocessor Silicon Validation and Optimization Engineer-Staff within the ASICS Engineering group, you will serve as a technical lead for pre-silicon and post-silicon validation and enablement of microprocessors on SoC. Your daily responsibilities include test development, pre-silicon verification, presilicon emulation, silicon bring-up, system detailed characterization, customer debug support, and optimization. You will be responsible for mapping silicon scenarios to design verification environments and engaging with design teams for root cause debugging. The role requires expertise in microprocessor and cache-memory architecture, as well as software and algorithm development for functional validation and silicon characterization. Required technical skills include proficiency in C/C++ and assembly languages such as ARM, DSP, and i32.
