As Mgr, Field Process within the Customer Support Business Group, you will oversee technical support for customers by leading teams of field engineers, technicians, and support specialists. You will manage personnel who diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex electro/mechanical equipment, sophisticated computer systems, software applications, and networking or wireless networking systems. Your daily responsibilities include supervising engineers when standard procedures fail to resolve issues in non-functioning equipment or software, while maintaining communication with design engineering and software development regarding reliability and maintenance. You will ensure staff remain current on upgrades and new releases while potentially participating in customer installation and training programs. This role requires a bachelor's degree and four to six years of supervisory experience to manage the technical lifecycle solutions for critical equipment and processes within the company’s installed base.
