MES Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, configure, and verify master batch records and electronic batch records within the MES platform.
• Translate paper manufacturing records into digital formats based on stakeholder requirements.
• Manage system integration to ensure seamless data flow between MES and ERP, LIMS, and automation systems.
• Perform comprehensive testing of new recipes and system changes to ensure operational accuracy.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide support during live production recipe execution.
• Author and maintain verification documentation in compliance with GMP and internal quality standards.
• Lead change management initiatives to drive process standardization and recipe optimization.
• Provide off-hours technical support for MES systems as required by the business.

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, science, or a related field is desired.
• At least 5 years of significant engineering and/or operational experience is desired.
• Knowledge of MES solutions such as POMSnet Aquila, PharmaSuite, Syncade, Werum PAS-X, or similar systems is required.
• A strong understanding of ISA-88 and ISA-95 standards is required.
• Proficiency in C#, Visual Basic .NET, and JavaScript for MES coding and configuration tasks is required.
• Experience in the healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceutical, or biologics industries is preferred.
• Demonstrated competency with financial systems and fiscal control is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment is required.
