Mechanical Production Support Engineer

What you'll do

• Own the mechanical assembly processes of card sorting robotic platforms.
• Design and implement tests involving card handling and mechanical designs.
• Improve manufacturing processes and tooling used during assembly and testing.
• Manage deliverables and provide project updates to internal collaborators.
• Solve and support production and operational technical challenges.
• Develop improvements for current and future product assembly systems.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Experience with design for manufacturing.
• Experience assembling and testing prototypes.
• Experience owning deliverables for complex electro-mechanical system assembly.
• Experience with Computer Aided Design, SolidWorks, or Siemens NX (preferred).
• Experience with miniature pneumatic and vacuum systems (preferred).
• Experience with systems that handle paper and/or cardboard (preferred).
• Experience with motion control principles, 3D printing, or Raspberry Pi (preferred).
