What you'll do

Own the mechanical definition and configuration management for production products from shipment through ongoing changes.
Resolve manufacturing quality issues using root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions.
Design new components and revise existing designs as product requirements evolve.
Integrate design for manufacture and assembly (DFMA) feedback to improve production line reliability.
Manage the bill of materials (BOM) and engineering documentation for final shipped products.
Support qualification campaigns to ensure products perform reliably in real-world conditions.
Travel to field exercises to gather user feedback and support products in operation.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering field.
7+ years of professional mechanical engineering experience.
Experience managing a bill of materials (BOM) and drawings within a PLM tool.
Strong CAD skills to produce high-quality engineering drawings and documentation.
Proficiency with root cause analysis (RCA) and permanent corrective action (PCA).
Fluency with engineering first principles.
U.S. Person status for access to export-controlled data.
Ability to obtain and maintain an active Top Secret clearance.
