What you'll do

  • Install, operate, and maintain network infrastructure for the Medium Data Rate Satellite Architecture Network.
  • Provide technical support and maintenance for telecommunications transmission media systems and network architecture.
  • Plan, configure, and document MDRT architecture, networks, and associated equipment.
  • Establish connections through option files for satellite and gateway access requests.
  • Perform network connectivity monitoring and system failure management.
  • Monitor and restore IT networks involving iDirect communications hardware, software, and video systems.
  • Coordinate with other network professionals to maintain external connectivity and resolve cross-team issues.

What we're looking for

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Must currently possess a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent experience is required.
  • 3+ years of related experience is required.
  • DOD 8570 compliant I.E. (e.g., Sec+) is required.
  • Experience with MDRT Architecture and Systems, iDirect, or tactical SHF systems is required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of SATCOM and SHF transmission systems and networking troubleshooting is required.
  • Intermediate understanding of Windows Server/Client administration is required.
