Electronics Technician

What you'll do

• Build complex electromechanical assemblies and integrate electrical systems into underwater vehicles.
• Fabricate wire harnesses, solder electronic modules including PCBAs, and modify COTS components.
• Flash and load correct software and firmware versions onto various devices.
• Design, prototype, and scale manufacturing jigs and fixtures to improve build and test efficiency.
• Follow technical documentation, electrical schematics, and engineering drawings to meet specifications.
• Develop and document production processes for pressure vessel fabrication and assembly.
• Perform electrical debugging using tools such as digital multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Manage tool inventory, equipment maintenance, calibrations, and raw material stock.

What we're looking for

• Solid background in electronics within robotics, defense, or avionics fields.
• Ability to perform detailed electro-mechanical assembly with tight-tolerance components and complex wire routings.
• Familiarity with electrical engineering principles and concepts.
• Experience interpreting technical documentation, electrical schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in electrical debugging using tools such as digital multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Understanding of the manufacturing life cycle.
• Ability to perform soldering of electronic modules and fabrication of complex wire harnesses.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
