The Managing Director IT, End User Compute & Modern Desktop leads a high-performing team of managers, full-time employees, and managed service partners within the End User Computing and Modern Workspace organization. This role is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of computer systems, applications, and programs to create a secure, AI-enabled environment that simplifies collaboration across digital and physical workspaces. The manager will oversee the M365 suite, endpoint technologies, audio/video conferencing, email, and print services while driving digital transformation through intelligent automation and agentic workflows. Key responsibilities include managing vendor relationships, ensuring operational excellence, and overseeing security and compliance. Candidates must possess experience in systems development involving mainframe, distributed, client-server, relational, transaction, message, and embedded systems, alongside strong leadership skills to manage complex programs and ensure the stability of critical communication services for a global enterprise.
Define and execute a strategic roadmap for a secure, unified, and modern digital workplace.
Lead enterprise transformation by integrating AI-powered capabilities and automated workflows into business platforms.
Ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of critical communication and productivity services globally.
Manage global IT delivery services, vendor partnerships, and technology investments to optimize costs.
Partner with security teams to ensure the workplace environment meets governance and compliance standards.
Lead complex, cross-functional programs to deliver integrated solutions across business and technology teams.
Establish metrics and accountability frameworks to measure technology adoption and business value.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, business, or a related quantitative field.
Extensive experience in systems development including design, development, implementation, and maintenance of large batch or online transaction-based systems.
Experience with mainframe, distributed, client server, relational, transaction, message, embedded, imaging, and systems management systems.
Previous management experience is required.
Strong leadership, human relations, and communication skills are required.
Ability to lead high-performing teams of managers, full-time employees, and managed service partners.
Experience in driving digital transformation, intelligent automation, and AI-powered capabilities.
