Manager V, Physicist/Scientist

What you'll do

• Lead a team of engineers and scientists to invent and test novel subsystems for electrochemical processing of wafers and panels.
• Manage the iterative loop of literature review, engineering design, and experimental testing for new semiconductor equipment.
• Identify future market requirements and develop technologies to meet those needs.
• Drive the use of computer modeling tools including COMSOL, Matlab, CFD, and FEA codes to guide design work.
• Lead the development of hardware, automation, fluid, and process subsystems for automated semiconductor wet process tools.
• Coordinate the development of process requirements in PIDs and software specifications with the software team.
• Work with patent counsel to draft and implement intellectual property filings.
• Manage multiple project teams and coordinate with other business groups to set organizational priorities and allocate resources.

What we're looking for

• PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or Physics.
• 10 or more years of experience in the Semiconductor Equipment industry.
• Familiarity with wet chemical and electroplating processing equipment.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and management experience.
• Deep knowledge of electrochemical processes, including electroplating, etching, rinsing, and drying.
• Simulation experience using multi-physics analysis such as Comsol and Ansys.
• Expertise in electrochemical process engineering and wet chemical processing.
• Electroplating experience (preferred).
