Manager, Systems Engineering

What you'll do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 20-25 engineering professionals.
• Provide technical direction for radiation modeling and space-environment analyses.
• Guide components engineering, materials selection, failure analysis, and logistics across the product lifecycle.
• Lead complex trade studies and root-cause investigations to convert mission constraints into engineering plans.
• Improve specialty engineering standards and tools while communicating technical direction to program teams.
• Bid work scope and ensure all programs meet established objectives.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree in Engineering and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
• Minimum of 13 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to obtain a federal security clearance.
• Experience with radiation modeling, space environments, or space-system survivability analysis (preferred).
• Experience in components engineering, materials selection, reliability, or failure analysis (preferred).
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering work across concept, design, test, operations, and sustainment (preferred).
• U.S. citizens.
