Manager, Software Engineering, PharmaApps

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end outcomes for pharmacy applications including intake, build, integration, transition to run, and ongoing support.
• Translate business goals into executable delivery plans with clear scope, dependencies, success criteria, and risk awareness.
• Manage multi-year application roadmaps that balance feature delivery, technical debt reduction, and platform modernization.
• Oversee project budgets, resource capacity for onshore/offshore teams, and capital versus expense financial tracking.
• Enforce SDLC governance, including QA standards, change control, and automated monitoring for system reliability.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure performance, contract fulfillment, and alignment on product roadmaps.
• Lead a team of 3-5 members by setting clear priorities, performance goals, and development plans.
• Communicate technical complexities to business leaders using non-technical language to influence decision-making.

What we're looking for

• 8-12 years of experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience (preferred).
• Experience leading cross-functional delivery teams including Engineering, Integration, QA, and Project Management.
• Strong understanding of enterprise systems, middleware, APIs, SQL-based data access, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Demonstrated capability in estimation, planning, SDLC governance, and operational delivery execution.
• Experience managing delivery plans, budgets, and capacity across multiple initiatives.
• Experience directly managing a small technical team including technical leads, business analysts, and engineers.
• Experience operating in regulated or operationally critical environments, such as pharmacy or healthcare platforms (preferred).
