What you'll do

Manage all aspects of software supporting finance, including core platforms, ERP integrations, and data pipelines.
Ensure software meets requirements for reliability, accuracy, auditability, and scalability as the business grows.
Provide technical leadership and strategic guidance to software teams to improve engineering quality.
Own the system roadmap, including prioritization, implementation, and delivery of all software components.
Drive the speed of software iteration with a focus on capability-based deliverables.
Directly manage, coach, and mentor a team of software engineers and engineering leads.
Collaborate across departments to ensure clean data flows and maintain strong financial controls.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or science and 5+ years of software development experience.
7+ years of professional software development experience in lieu of a degree.
1+ years of experience with direct report management for a software engineering team.
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee eligible for Department of State authorization.
Ability to pass Air Force background checks for Cape Canaveral and Vandenberg.
5+ years of experience developing across a full-stack including web server, database, client-side, and CI/CD (preferred).
Programming experience in Python, C#, .NET, Go, Java, or similar object-oriented languages (preferred).
Experience with ERP, accounting, or financial planning systems and financial data integrity (preferred).
