JOB TITLE: Manager, Site Reliability Engineering
The Manager, Site Reliability Engineering joins the IDaaS Site Reliability Engineering Group to lead multiple teams focused on Edge networking, K8s platform, CI/CD, Observability, and automation tooling. This role involves managing SREs to support various workloads, driving microservice journeys, and improving DevOps maturity across the organization. You will develop powerful tooling, intuitive self-service capabilities, and robust self-healing patterns to accelerate engineering velocity. Key responsibilities include performing engineering design evaluations, managing resource allocation, and improving SDLC processes for Cloud infrastructure as code. The role requires expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines, alongside experience with observability platforms like Grafana and Splunk. You will solve complex reliability challenges for a high-throughput identity service designed for 99.999 availability across multiple geographically separated regions.
Manage a team of SREs supporting various workloads and teams across the IDaaS platform.
Drive microservice journeys, DevOps maturity, and workload reliability in coordination with architects.
Develop powerful tooling, intuitive self-service capabilities, and robust self-healing patterns to accelerate engineering velocity.
Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of engineers and managers across infrastructure domains.
Perform engineering design evaluations and ensure project completion within resource, budget, and schedule constraints.
Improve SDLC processes for Cloud infrastructure as code, including CI/CD pipelines and release management.
Manage service and business expectations while prioritizing resource allocation across the organization.
What we're looking for
Must have 3+ years of experience in technical leadership and people management.
Must have extensive experience using Agile and DevOps methodologies to build product infrastructure and shared services at scale.
Must have experience running large-scale infrastructure platforms supporting a SaaS/Cloud service in a public Cloud, preferably AWS.
Must have experience supporting a multi-Cloud environment (preferred).
Must have strong expertise in cloud-native architectures, containerization (Kubernetes), IaC (Terraform), and CI/CD pipelines.
Must have a strong background and hands-on experience in SW development, PaaS, and automation.
Must have deep experience building and operating observability platforms and monitoring tools like Grafana, Splunk, and APM in large-scale environments.
Must be able to establish U.S. Person status (e.g., U.S. Citizen, National, Lawful Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee).
