Senior Manager, Site Reliability Engineering

What you'll do

• Lead and grow a team of SREs managing FedRAMP High, IL4, and IL5 environments.
• Serve as the primary operational relationship manager for federal agency security leaders and stakeholders.
• Manage the continuous monitoring program including POA&M remediation and vulnerability SLA compliance.
• Coordinate infrastructure changes with product teams to ensure they meet FedRAMP-compliant processes.
• Drive incident response and post-incident reviews that satisfy federal reporting requirements like FISMA.
• Manage relationships with 3PAOs and internal legal/security teams during audits and ATO renewals.
• Maintain operational runbooks, system security plans, and evidence packages for compliance audits.
• Build compliant self-service tooling and CI/CD pipelines to increase engineering team velocity.

What we're looking for

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Active or current eligibility for a federal security clearance (Secret or above) is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in technical leadership and people management are required.
• At least 3 years of experience in a federal or regulated environment like FedRAMP, DoD, or IC is required.
• Demonstrated experience managing relationships with federal security stakeholders such as AOs, ISSOs, and agency CISOs is required.
• Working knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, FedRAMP frameworks, FISMA reporting, and DISA STIGs is required.
• Experience operating large-scale cloud infrastructure in FedRAMP environments (AWS GovCloud preferred) and IL4/IL5 experience is a strong plus.
• Strong background in SRE or platform engineering fundamentals including Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD, and incident management is required.
