What you'll do

  • Hire, coach, and develop a team of Security Engineering Program Managers across various career levels.
  • Define and operationalize end-to-end risk and vulnerability management programs including scope, requirements, and timelines.
  • Translate security priorities into executable plans by partnering with engineering leaders and risk teams.
  • Manage cross-functional dependencies and resources to ensure the timely delivery of security controls and frameworks.
  • Analyze data to identify recurring themes and prioritize high-impact opportunities for reducing security risks.
  • Define and report on program health, success metrics, and remediation progress to senior leadership.
  • Develop communication plans to proactively share risk posture and project status with stakeholders.
  • Improve organizational processes by iterating on scalable frameworks and metrics for security programs.

What we're looking for

  • 8+ years of experience in technical program management, including 4+ years in security or a combination of 4+ years in both program management and security fields.
  • 3+ years of experience managing people, such as a team of program managers, engineers, or other technical professionals.
  • Experience hiring, coaching, and developing team members at different stages of their careers.
  • Proficiency in managing complex projects, including defining scopes, setting timelines, and coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to use data to identify, assess, and prioritize security risks while communicating mitigation strategies.
  • Solid understanding of software development, systems engineering, or related technical fields.
  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another technical field or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience building/scaling vulnerability management programs, cloud security, using Tableau, AI tools, or holding certifications like CISSP (preferred).
