Manager, Proposal & Capture
The Manager, Proposal & Capture joins the Proposals & Capture team to drive the development and delivery of major proposals for defense technologies. This role serves as a core component of the growth engine, where you will manage project timelines, construct technical narratives on cutting-edge capabilities, and develop strategic pricing across various product lines. You will collaborate with engineering, legal, finance, and program management teams to create white papers, quotes, and proposal documents that communicate value to government customers. Key responsibilities include building a content library of graphics and prose while managing the end-to-end proposal process. Essential skills include expert writing, project management, and navigating complex government acquisition processes like FAR 12 and FAR 15. The role addresses critical defense challenges in areas such as air defense, maritime systems, electromagnetic warfare, and international programs.
Construct narratives and documents that convey the company's value proposition to government customers.
Manage and write responses to requests for white papers, product information, quotes, and proposals.
Develop and maintain strategic pricing across all products and business lines.
Create and manage a content library of prose, graphics, and briefs for use across the organization.
Coordinate with engineering teams to accurately represent technical capabilities to potential customers.
Identify and flag new business opportunities for internal stakeholders.
Own and improve the proposal process to ensure continuous operational improvement.
What we're looking for

Excellent writing skills are required to generate large documents on short timelines.
Significant experience with the government acquisitions process is required.
Experience and aptitude in building processes where none exist are required.
Ability to articulate information, understand business needs, and build relationships across diverse disciplines is required.
Experience in international defense contracting is required for the International role.
Specific technical requirements vary by role: Secret clearance is required for Electromagnetic Warfare; others may have different levels or no clearance requirement.
Preferred qualifications include experience with DoW systems, FAR 12/15 processes, and complex engineering projects.
