Manager, Media Engineering

What you'll do

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers and media engineers supporting the Keystone platform.
• Provide technical direction for platform architecture, workflow automation, and media pipeline execution.
• Design and maintain multi-functional media workflows including transcoding, QC, localization, and final delivery.
• Lead technical integration efforts across AWS, MAM systems, vendor platforms, and internal distribution tools.
• Perform hands-on engineering tasks such as code reviews, scripting, and technical design for platform development.
• Act as the primary technical bridge between engineering teams, product management, and media operations stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot complex issues involving failed jobs, metadata errors, and delivery blockers across integrated systems.
• Ensure high-volume production workflows remain stable while implementing scalable technical solutions.

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of experience in media engineering, software engineering, platform engineering, or technical delivery roles.
• 3+ years of experience leading engineers, developers, media engineers, or technical teams.
• Strong understanding of media supply chain, post-production, localization, QC, mastering, packaging, or content delivery workflows.
• Hands-on experience with software development, scripting, APIs, integrations, databases, cloud services, or workflow automation.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams through complex system integrations and production-critical delivery efforts.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across media workflows, system integrations, metadata exchange, and operational support issues.
• Experience working with MAM systems, workflow orchestration platforms, media processing systems, or enterprise content platforms.
• Experience with SDVI Rally or comparable media workflow orchestration platforms (preferred).
