Manager, Intelligence - OIC leads a diverse team of intelligence professionals within the Operational Intelligence Center to provide critical support for retail centers across North America. The manager is responsible for overseeing social media monitoring, information collection, and the production of analytical reports, graphics, and briefings for stakeholders. This role involves managing the full intelligence cycle, identifying threats to the organization, and coordinating responses during emergencies or natural disasters like hurricanes and wildfires. Key technical competencies include proficiency in data mining, automation, and specialized platforms such as Dataminr, Fivecast, and ArcGIS. The manager must integrate HUMINT, SIGINT, and OSINT into a unified operational picture while ensuring adherence to intelligence tradecraft. Essential skills include risk analysis, strategic forecasting, and the ability to communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences in high-pressure environments.
Lead and mentor a team of intelligence professionals in a 24/7 operational environment.
Manage analyst schedules, task delegation, and performance metrics to ensure continuous coverage.
Review and approve intelligence products for accuracy, objectivity, and analytical rigor.
Monitor social media and use OSINT tools to identify threats to retail operations.
Produce high-level reports, graphics, and briefings for executive leadership and stakeholders.
Serve as the primary point of contact during emergencies, natural disasters, and security incidents.
Develop and update intelligence standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training materials.
Build and maintain information networks with public and private agencies like fusion centers and police departments.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Criminology, Law Enforcement, Intelligence Studies, Political Science, Homeland Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 5 years of relevant intelligence experience at the local, state, federal, or corporate level.
Minimum of 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably within a 24/7 or shift-based operations center.
Demonstrated experience with OSINT tools and threat-monitoring platforms such as Dataminr, LifeRaft, or ArcGIS.
Proficiency in data mining, automation, and integrating HUMINT, SIGINT, and OSINT into a unified operational picture.
Strong leadership skills to mentor analysts, manage performance goals, and oversee intelligence products for accuracy and rigor.
Ability to communicate complex findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences through reports and briefings.
Knowledge of risk management, privacy laws, data protection regulations, and jurisdictional issues in intelligence work.
