Load Balancer Network Engineer

What you'll do

• Architect network and security products in secured enclaves including testing, validation, and selection.
• Develop long-term roadmap planning for scalability within secure enclaves.
• Define system security requirements such as authorization boundaries, security domains, and data classification.
• Design security interfaces, interconnections, and trust relationships between system components and external systems.
• Implement security designs using COTS, GOTS, and open-source hardware and software.
• Harden and configure systems in accordance with Federal, DoD, and Intelligence Community guidance.
• Coordinate security assessments to identify control failures and recommend corrective actions.

What we're looking for

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must possess an active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access.
• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in information technology or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience installing, configuring, and supporting load balancing technologies, preferably F5.
• 3+ years of experience configuring network security infrastructure, including software-defined networks and firewalls.
• 3+ years of experience as a system administrator performing data center migrations, server upgrades, and patching.
• 1+ year of experience monitoring security bulletins and alerts from network system vendors.
• Preferred qualifications include CISSP certification, DevSecOps principles, and experience with Ansible or UNIX scripting.
