What you'll do

Build and operate network solutions for global data centers, cloud platforms, and FedRAMP-authorized environments.
Engineer and optimize global IP backbone routing using BGP, OSPF, and traffic-engineering strategies.
Design and implement secure network segmentation and boundary controls for regulated FedRAMP environments.
Implement hybrid and cloud-native routing across AWS, Azure, and GCP using Direct Connect and ExpressRoute.
Develop automated provisioning, configuration, and validation pipelines using Python, Ansible, and Git-driven CI/CD workflows.
Troubleshoot complex routing, TCP, and connectivity issues using logs and packet captures.
Lead incident response and remediate vulnerabilities to maintain network OS compliance and security posture.
Create and maintain high-quality runbooks, architectural diagrams, and documentation for FedRAMP audits.

What we're looking for

7+ years of experience in network engineering with large-scale, multi-region, and global routing environments.
Experience engineering, operating, or supporting FedRAMP Moderate and/or High environments (preferred).
Deep hands-on expertise with BGP and OSPF in global IP backbone environments, including traffic engineering and multi-vendor interoperability.
Strong operational and engineering experience with JunOS (MX, QFX, SRX preferred).
Proficiency with additional network OS platforms such as EOS, NX-OS, or IOS-XE (preferred).
Experience with hybrid and cloud-native networking across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
Hands-on automation skills using Python, Ansible/AWX, configuration templating, Git workflows, and automated testing/validation pipelines.
Strong understanding of network security controls, boundary protection, encryption, logging, and segmentation concepts required for FedRAMP.
