What you'll do

Design, integrate, configure, and deploy network devices across LAN, CAN, and WAN environments.
Optimize end-to-end system performance and dataflow by minimizing latency and maximizing throughput.
Implement technical solutions including load balancing, VPNs, firewalls, traffic shaping, and IP encryption.
Translate business requirements into telecommunications solutions for voice, video, and large-scale infrastructure.
Maintain network diagrams and accreditation documentation to meet ISO 9000 and DoD/IC regulatory requirements.
Perform engineering analysis of alternatives to support modernization efforts and infrastructure enhancements.
Resolve network incidents and coordinate system conversions or cutovers across multiple sites.
Apply systems engineering principles throughout all lifecycle phases of the project.

What we're looking for

Must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance with a polygraph.
A Master's degree in a related field and six years of professional network engineering experience is required.
A Bachelor's degree in a related field and eight years of professional network engineering experience is required.
Twelve years of relevant professional experience may be substituted for a degree if held with an industry standard certification.
Must hold an Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I baseline certification per DoD 8570.01-M.
Experience must include designing, implementing, and maintaining LAN/CAN/WAN and telecommunications infrastructures.
Proficiency in load balancing, VPNs, firewalls, VoIP, and IP encryption is required.
Ability to perform systems engineering activities aligned to ISO/IEC 15288 Technical Process Areas.
