Legal Technology Specialist

What you'll do

• Serve as the primary eDiscovery point-of-contact for internal technical teams and outside counsel.
• Design, develop, and maintain internal reporting regarding the litigation portfolio and legal team performance.
• Execute eDiscovery, document collection, and legal hold workflows to respond to subpoenas and litigation.
• Maintain database information and create custom scripts or tools for tracking and exporting company data.
• Analyze business workflows and data systems to improve operational processes and data quality.
• Evaluate new legal technologies and manage administrative functions within the existing legal toolset.
• Document technical processes and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and data handling requirements.

What we're looking for

• A tech-focused bachelor's degree or experience in a highly computer-centric technical environment is required.
• Experience extracting, transforming, and loading data from various systems is required.
• Basic experience with scripting or programming is required.
• Understanding of data encryption and security practices for secure data transfer is required.
• Ability to document technical processes and procedures while communicating findings clearly to peers and co-workers is required.
• Experience with MS SQL, BigQuery, Snowflake, or other databases (preferred).
• Prior experience with Legal tools like Relativity or Document Management systems (preferred).
• Dashboard development and advanced scripting experience (preferred).
