Technical Specialist Professional

What you'll do

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for indirect tax determination and compliance.
• Translate tax requirements into functional solutions in collaboration with stakeholders and IT teams.
• Configure and maintain OneSource Indirect Tax Determination for Sales Tax, VAT, and GST scenarios.
• Support integration activities between OneSource and various ERP systems.
• Document functional decisions and configuration details to support testing, deployment, and future enhancements.
• Develop test strategies, create test cases, execute UAT, and resolve defects.
• Perform root cause analysis on tax calculation issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure all tax configurations align with local country regulations and compliance requirements.

What we're looking for

• Successful completion of the IBM Apprenticeship Program.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience gathering and documenting functional requirements.
• Understanding of indirect tax concepts including Sales Tax, VAT, and GST.
• Understanding of integration touchpoints between SAP, internal applications, and tax engines.
• Experience working with SAP modules such as SAP FI and/or SAP SD (preferred).
• Bachelor's Degree.
