What you'll do

  • Define and own the enterprise data architecture for Legal Operations, including models and integration patterns.
  • Design and implement entity resolution to create master records for key entities across all legal systems.
  • Establish common language, taxonomy, and ontology standardizing terminology across practice groups and systems.
  • Architect the data lake and integration layer connecting various legal systems for unified data access.
  • Build the data foundation enabling AI systems to achieve production-level accuracy with trusted insights.
  • Design and implement data governance frameworks including ownership, access controls, lineage, and compliance.

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years experience in data architecture, engineering, with at least 4 years in senior leadership
  • Deep expertise in enterprise data architecture including modeling, data lake design, ETL/ELT patterns
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms like Snowflake and data integration tools (dbt, Fivetran)
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation and automation
  • Experience designing entity resolution, master data management, and data quality solutions
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor data teams, set technical direction and standards
  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
