What you'll do

  • Manage the end-to-end commissioning process for multi-million-dollar data center construction projects.
  • Execute project scope, schedule, and budget requirements to deliver new data center capacity.
  • Conduct on-site inspections to review quality assurance, quality control, and commissioning processes.
  • Manage contracted Commissioning Agents and oversee vendor performance and contract compliance.
  • Develop and enforce best practices for commissioning procedures and cost-effective solutions.
  • Review and approve Lease Statements of Qualification (SoQs) and other project approval tools.
  • Report progress on scope, schedule, budget, and KPI metrics to senior management.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, construction managers, and finance teams to align project goals.

What we're looking for

  • A Doctorate degree in Engineering and 2+ years of technical experience, or a Master's degree and 4+ years of experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5+ years of technical experience, or 12+ years of relevant technical engineering experience.
  • Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check every two years.
  • 5+ years of experience working on data center projects, project management, or construction QA/QC.
  • Ability to develop and write detailed commissioning scripts and manage issue identification and resolution.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, MS Visio, MS Project, and MS Teams.
  • Preferred certifications include OSHA 30, NFPA-70E, or Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Experience in managing vendor contracts, site inspections, and project scope, schedule, and budget.
