Lead Systems Operations Engineer joins the Infrastructure Operations and Reliability team to support Middleware Operations through operational analytics, reporting, and process improvement. This role involves developing operational dashboards, scorecards, and executive metrics to provide visibility into service health, demand, capacity, risk, and performance across middleware, messaging, file transfer, and platform services. The engineer will resolve complex technical challenges, manage escalated issues, and collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to enhance service delivery and governance. Key tools and technologies include Power BI, ServiceNow, Splunk, Grafana, AppDynamics, JIRA, Visio, Mural, and Microsoft Copilot for AI-assisted productivity. Technical skills required include Python, PowerShell, and Ansible for automation. The role focuses on solving problems related to infrastructure reliability, service transparency, and operational readiness within the middleware and messaging domain while ensuring compliance and standardizing workflows across core business solutions.
Develop operational dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting frameworks to provide visibility into service health and performance.

Make critical decisions on technical changes while ensuring compliance with established process controls and standards.

What we're looking for
5+ years of Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture experience.
5+ years of Business Execution, Operations Management, Technology Operations, Operational Excellence, Strategic Planning, Process Improvement, Analytics, or related experience.
Experience with enterprise middleware technologies including messaging, managed file transfer, application integration, or API platforms (preferred).
Experience creating executive presentations and strategic communications regarding scorecards, KPIs, and reporting (preferred).
Experience with Power BI, ServiceNow reporting, or dashboard development (preferred).
Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) disciplines such as Incident, Change, Problem, and Knowledge Management (preferred).
Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts including observability, reliability, automation, and reduction of operational toil (preferred).
Experience with production monitoring tools (Splunk, Grafana, AppDynamics), automation/scripting (Python, PowerShell, Ansible), or AI-assisted productivity tools (preferred).
