What you'll do

Lead assigned programs, IRADs, and proposals using traditional Systems Engineering Development Life Cycle (SDLC) rigor.
Conduct technical planning and analysis activities across the full lifecycle of software, network, and cloud systems.
Author and conduct formal Program Gate reviews including SRR, SDR, PDR, CDR, and TRR.
Develop and maintain Interface Control Documents (ICDs) to define and manage software and cloud subsystem interfaces.
Manage verification and validation processes to ensure systems meet all functional and performance requirements.
Perform cost, risk, supportability, and effectiveness analyses for scalable and maintainable cloud architectures.
Translate customer and stakeholder requirements into comprehensive system solutions while managing technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Execute functional decomposition, requirements allocation, and trade studies to define hardware and software specifications.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of relevant experience, a Graduate Degree and 6 years of experience, or 12 years of experience without a degree.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
Experience supporting weather or aviation programs (preferred).
Experience with requirements management tools like Jama or other tools integrating with MBSE workflows (preferred).
Experience using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as CAMEO or other applications leveraging SYSML (preferred).
AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Practitioner certifications (preferred).
Familiarity with OpenShift, KeyCloak, Terraform Enterprise, and Red Hat Quay platforms for cloud systems (preferred).
Security clearance.
