What you'll do

Lead the design and development of scalable backend services, APIs, and platform components for Intelligent Commerce.
Architect and build distributed, low-latency, and highly available systems using cloud-native technologies.
Translate business requirements from Product Managers into robust technical solutions and system designs.
Provide hands-on coding, debugging, and performance optimization for critical production systems.
Implement microservices architecture patterns and improve CI/CD, observability, and system reliability.
Mentor engineers to raise the technical bar and support their professional career growth.
Identify opportunities for system simplification, code reuse, and improved cost efficiency.
Integrate AI-assisted development tools and workflows to increase engineering velocity and quality.

What we're looking for

Must have experience with a Bachelor's degree, or with an Advanced degree, or with a PhD, or total experience.
Experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems (preferred).
Strong experience in Java and/or Python, microservices, and REST APIs (preferred).
Proven experience designing and delivering cloud-native applications using Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD (preferred).
Strong expertise in system design, scalability, and high-availability architecture (preferred).
Experience working with product and cross-functional partners to deliver complex systems (preferred).
Exposure to AI-driven systems, intelligent platforms, or agent-based workflows (preferred).
Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks like React or Angular (preferred).
