What you'll do

Provide technical leadership and hands-on support for C/C++ development of GPS and related equipment.
Integrate and debug embedded software on target hardware to meet strict performance requirements.
Lead the interpretation of customer specifications to define software design requirements.
Manage the full software lifecycle from conceptual design and proof-of-concept to completion.
Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to other engineers on the software development team.
Lead documentation efforts to communicate design concepts and demonstrate compliance with requirements.
Perform incremental modification, analysis, and testing of legacy software solutions.
Contribute to external proposals and customer engagement efforts as needed.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, and minimum 9 years of relevant experience in real-time embedded software.
Master of Science or advanced degree preferred with a minimum of 7 years of related experience.
Minimum of 13 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
5+ years of experience as a team lead, technical lead, and/or subject matter expert for an embedded software development project.
5+ years of experience as a technical contributor working with DoD / DoW customers or subcontractors.
6+ years of C/C++ coding and debugging.
Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.
