What you'll do

Develop and debug embedded C/C++ software for GPS and related equipment on target hardware.
Interpret customer specifications to define software design requirements and modifications.
Support new programs from conceptual design through detailed design to final completion.
Maintain legacy programs through incremental modification, analysis, and testing of existing solutions.
Lead code reviews and provide technical guidance to other engineers on the software development team.
Produce detailed documentation covering design details and demonstrating compliance to requirements.
Conduct proof-of-concept evaluations of design alternatives and perform complex software engineering assignments.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, and minimum 6 years of relevant experience in real-time embedded software design.
Master of Science or advanced degree preferred with a minimum of 4 years of related experience.
Minimum of 10 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
4+ years of experience as a team lead, technical lead, and/or subject matter expert for an embedded software development project.
4+ years of experience as a technical contributor working with DoD / DoW customers or subcontractors.
6+ years of experience in C/C++ coding and debugging.
Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.
