Required skills include experience in real-time embedded software design, C/C++ coding, and debugging. Preferred competencies involve modern GPS concepts, signal processing, linear algebra, and experience with real-time embedded operating systems, Jenkins, Bambo, Jira, and Git within an Agile or Scrum framework.

What you'll do

Develop and debug robust embedded C/C++ software for GPS and related equipment.
Integrate and debug software directly on target hardware.
Analyze technical requirements and conduct proof-of-concept evaluations of design alternatives.
Produce detailed design documentation and evidence of requirement compliance.
Perform peer code reviews and other software engineering tasks.
Solve complex professional software engineering problems for mission-critical defense systems.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent and 4 years of relevant experience.
Master of Science or advanced degree and 2 years of relevant experience (preferred).
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
2+ years of experience as a team lead, technical lead, and/or subject matter expert for an embedded software development project.
2+ years of experience as a technical contributor working with DoD / DoW customers or subcontractors.
5+ years of experience with C/C++ coding and debugging.
Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.
U.S. citizens.
