What you'll do

Design, develop, implement, and test sensor control software for Airborne Imaging systems.
Utilize MS Visual Studio, QNX, Linux, and XMLSpy tools to develop products according to industry standards.
Perform debugging, unit testing, and system modeling for complex software products.
Conduct independent technical investigations to improve system performance or resolve difficult requirements issues.
Coordinate with functional engineers to resolve compatibility and interface problems with other subsystems.
Participate in specification, design, code, and test reviews with other departments.
Provide timely production support, problem resolution, and status reports for ongoing projects.
Prioritize and manage multiple projects within established design specifications and budget restrictions.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (preferred) and a minimum of 9 years of prior related experience.
Graduate degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
Experience interacting with software development throughout the design cycle, including major design reviews and architecture reviews.
Experience with Hardware and Software integration and test, and embedded development.
Experience with C++ systems development with understanding of Software/Hardware co-design, distributed systems design, and software/computer architecture.
Experience with APIs/BSPs/Drivers, OpenGL, health and status, and programming for Linux, Windows, and QNX operating systems.
DevSecOps and Test automation experience using Python or similar languages.
U.S. citizens.
