As a Lead Software Engineer - Sr. UI Developer within the Chase Digital team, you will lead the design and delivery of modern web applications for the Chase Business website. You will coordinate engineers in an agile environment to build responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces while improving how customers manage business banking capabilities. Your daily work involves engineering Single Page Applications, optimizing front-end architecture, and establishing engineering best practices across the software development life cycle. You will utilize React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS to build production web applications. Technical requirements include integrating RESTful web services, implementing testing strategies using Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Selenium, and managing build pipelines with Jenkins. You will also leverage enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools to improve code quality and delivery speed.

Design, build, and maintain responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

What we're looking for
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
10+ years of experience delivering technology solutions, with 8+ years of web development experience.
Advanced proficiency in React, JavaScript, and TypeScript for building production web applications.
8+ years of experience with HTML5 and CSS, including strong fundamentals in modern web standards.
Demonstrated experience with testing frameworks for UI applications (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Selenium) across unit through end-to-end coverage.
Strong experience integrating with RESTful web services and building scalable client-side integrations.
5+ years of experience with build pipelines and automation tooling (e.g., Jenkins or similar).
Working knowledge of using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support software engineering workflows with strong validation habits.
