As a Front End Lead Software Engineer within the Consumer & Community Banking Digital Platform team, you will serve as a core technical contributor responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and stable technology products. You will execute creative software solutions, develop high-quality production code, and mentor developers through code reviews and technical direction. Your daily work involves building production AI-powered applications using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript, while implementing multi-agent orchestration, RAG patterns, and streaming architectures. You will utilize tools like Jest, Playwright, and Jenkins within a CI/CD pipeline to ensure quality through automated testing. The role requires solving complex technical problems by integrating open standards with enterprise infrastructure, ensuring adherence to security policies, and driving the adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve operational stability and delivery speed.
Develop secure, high-quality production code using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Conduct end-to-end testing using Jest, Playwright, React Testing Library, or Selenium.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices for code review and testing.
Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability.
Lead and mentor developers through code reviews and technical direction to ensure engineering excellence.
Design and implement production AI-powered applications using RAG patterns and multi-agent orchestration.
Ensure all software adheres to architecture standards, risk management, and security policies.
What we're looking for
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
8+ years of experience delivering technology solutions using Web development, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and Jenkins or a comparable CI/CD tool.
Strong hands-on expertise with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript for Single Page Application development and performance optimization.
Strong, recent experience building production AI-powered applications including multi-agent orchestration, streaming architectures, RAG patterns, and LLM observability.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and coaching engineers on responsible AI use.
Experience with software design patterns including OOP, functional programming, and RESTful API design.
Experience in unit, component, integration, and end-to-end testing using libraries such as Jest, Playwright, React Testing Library, or Selenium.
Experience with secure coding practices, including input validation, authentication patterns, and adherence to OWASP guidelines.
