The role requires proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or Python, along with expertise in CI/CD automation. You will address complex problems by applying advanced knowledge of application resiliency, security practices, and potentially machine learning or AI-assisted engineering techniques.

What you'll do

Design, develop, and troubleshoot creative software solutions to solve complex technical problems.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle including design, build, test, deploy, and operate.
Advanced understanding of application resiliency and security practices in modern software delivery.
Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
Experience building services using Spring Boot.
Experience designing and delivering event-driven solutions using Kafka.
Practical cloud-native experience delivering and operating production workloads on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery practices, including CI/CD.
Demonstrated depth in at least one technical discipline such as cloud, AI, machine learning, or mobile engineering.
Experience leading a small team of engineers while remaining hands-on in delivery (preferred).
Demonstrated mentoring and coaching of junior engineers through feedback, pairing, and code review (preferred).
Experience supporting development of machine learning models, including causal inference approaches (preferred).
Experience applying AI-assisted engineering techniques to accelerate delivery and improve quality (preferred).
Hands-on experience using Visual Studio Code for debugging web, cloud, and distributed applications (preferred).
