As a Lead Software Engineer- Full Stack within the Risk Technology - Wholesale Credit Risk Tech team, you will serve as a core technical contributor in an agile environment. Your daily work involves driving the adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices, leading communities of practice, and evaluating external vendor architectural designs. The role requires proficiency in CI/CD, containerized applications using K8s and EKS, and cloud-native experience. What you'll do

Design, develop, and troubleshoot creative software solutions to solve complex technical problems.
Write secure, high-quality production code and perform code reviews and debugging for other team members.
Drive the adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish validation standards for secure coding, peer reviews, and automated testing across the team.
Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve software operational stability.
Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical credentials.
Lead communities of practice to promote the use of leading-edge technologies across Software Engineering.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and React.
Proficiency in automation, continuous delivery methods, and all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
Demonstrated proficiency in technical processes such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile.
In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems.
Practical cloud native experience.
Proficient in building containerized (K8s, EKS) software applications using Java, Spring Framework, ORM, and Caching (preferred).
Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, Apache Spark, and Kafka (preferred).
Familiarity with modern front-end technologies (preferred).
