What you'll do

Design and develop scalable, resilient systems using Java or Python.
Create secure production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with existing systems.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish validation standards for secure coding, peer reviews, and automated testing.
Produce and contribute to architecture and design artifacts while ensuring all design constraints are met.
Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture.
Coach engineers on the safe, compliant, and responsible use of AI within engineering workflows.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Proficiency in coding using Java or Python languages.
Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and setting validation standards for AI outputs.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and secure handling of inputs/outputs.
Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
Knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline such as cloud, AI, or machine learning.
Familiarity with modern front-end technologies (preferred).
Familiarity working in identity & access management solutions (preferred).
Exposure to AI/ML technologies (preferred).
