As a Lead Software Engineer - Python, Full Stack / AI within the Treasury Technology team, you will lead the construction of an end-to-end data platform to manage Capital, Liquidity, Balance sheet, Funding, and billing. You will develop full-stack applications featuring React and TypeScript frontends with Python backends, while building data pipelines and ETL processes on Databricks and Snowflake platforms. A core component of this role involves integrating large language models like Claude and ChatGPT into the software lifecycle to automate requirements analysis and prompt-driven design. You will oversee agentic development, ensuring LLM-driven systems maintain determinism and security in regulated environments. The work focuses on solving complex financial problems involving Risk and PnL in Markets, requiring expertise in Python, multi-cloud environments like AWS, and advanced AI-assisted engineering practices to enhance code quality and delivery speed.
Develop full-stack applications using React/TypeScript for front-end dashboards and Python for back-end services.
Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes on Databricks and Snowflake platforms.
Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into the software engineering lifecycle as controlled, reliable components.
Translate business and regulatory requirements into technical specifications using LLM-driven analysis.
Establish best practices for prompt-driven design, treating prompts as versioned and reviewable artifacts.
Supervise agentic development to ensure AI-assisted code meets enterprise standards for reliability and security.
Drive team adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Design and model databases on modern platforms to support capital, liquidity, and funding data.
What we're looking for
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Strong Python skills and familiarity with agentic development (ADLC).
Demonstrated engineering leadership, architecture, and stakeholder management skills.
Database design and modeling on modern data platforms like Databricks and Snowflake.
Hands-on experience in co-pilot or Claude-code to design and deliver end-to-end applications.
Working understanding of multi public cloud environments with exposure to AWS Cloud.
Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying languages.
Understanding of agile methodologies including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools while ensuring safety, performance, and security.
Experience in Risk and PnL in Markets (preferred).
Knowledge of Financial Markets and Products such as Fixed Income and Derivatives, and Treasury concepts (preferred).
