What you'll do

Conduct resiliency design reviews and break down complex problems into manageable tasks for other engineers.
Lead initiatives to improve application reliability and stability using data-driven analytics to identify technology bottlenecks.
Collaborate with stakeholders to establish service level indicators, objectives, and error budgets for customers.
Serve as the primary point of contact during major incidents to identify and resolve issues quickly.
Provide high-level technical expertise and mentorship to other engineers across multiple technical domains.
Implement AI-assisted reliability workflows across the SDLC to improve CI/CD quality checks and operational readiness.
Use enterprise-authorized AI to accelerate incident triage, troubleshooting, and post-incident analysis while ensuring data security.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Demonstrated proficiency in reliability, scalability, performance, security, enterprise system architecture, and toil reduction.
Fluency in the Python programming language.
Experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to improve SRE workflows with strong validation habits and data sensitivity awareness.
Proficient knowledge of observability, including white and black box monitoring, SLO alerting, and telemetry collection.
Proficiency with continuous integration, continuous delivery practices, and container orchestration.
Experience troubleshooting common networking technologies and issues.
Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, AWS, GCP, or the financial/fintech industry (preferred).
